The smokey eye can be a tricky thing to try and do, some people do it to dark others not dark enough, personally I don't like having the eyes to dark, it gives the look of a black eye, not what you are looking for when your off out somewhere nice!
First off I start by applying a face cream which needs to be absorbed properly.
Apply a concealer over any imperfections and dark circles around the eyes.
Apply foundation evenly then using a large soft bristled brush, gently dust over the face with a powder foundation, tapping the bristles gently with your finger, then blend it in with the brush, this removes the shinny face look.
Apply a black line with a soft eye liner and blend with a cotton bud or your little finger.
Using a black or a dark eye shadow apply and smudge a little outwards.
Curl those lashes and then apply your mascara and a little eye liner if you wish, Remember people with blond hair and blue eyes are always meant to wear brown mascara and those with darker hair and eyes go for the black.
